LAVA MAGMA VOLCANO VOLCANOES

When magma erupts, what is it called?
It is called LAVA.

MAGMA is liquid rock inside a VOLCANO.
LAVA is liquid rock that flows out of a VOLCANO.

Fresh lava ranges from 700° to 1,200° Celsius in temperature and glows red hot to white as it flows.
How many  volcanoes are there in the world?
There are around 1,510 active volcanoes in the world and 80 or more are under the oceans.
There are three different types of volcanoes: active, dormant, extinct.
